AKIRA Project to open booth at FIRST EXPO 2014; Core Researcher Dr. Shizuo Akira to take podium

The symposium "FIRST EXPO 2014" - where 30 top researchers of the FIRST Program meet together - will be held at the Belle Salle Shinjuku Grand (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) over two days on February 28th (Fri) and March 1st (Sat), as part of the Cabinet Office's public activities in FY2013.

As for the AKIRA Project, we will open a booth at the exhibition hall and explain our research outcome in plain language.

At the presentation site, Professor Shizuo Akira, the Core Researcher of the Project, will take the podium both at the Special Session 1 held on February 28th and the FIRST Research Result Presentation 8 on March 1st.

Please come and join the FIRST EXPO 2014, as it will include various events such as the 'FIRST Science Forum' where Core Researchers of the FIRST Program will engage in two-way dialogues with high school and university students.
